Raw & Rooted is a community plant-finder: people post plants they spot at stores and nurseries so other plant people can find them. It's run by Raw & Rooted. Questions any time: jessplantsbyrawandrooted@gmail.com.
What we collect
There are no accounts and no sign-ups. When you post a find or add a store or show, everything you type — plant name, price, store, zip code, photos, notes, and the optional map pin — becomes publicly visible immediately. Don't include anything personal in a post.
Your alert watchlist is stored only on your own device, not on our servers tied to you. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits. Our hosting providers (Vercel and Supabase) process IP addresses in ordinary server logs to deliver the site, as virtually every website's hosting does.
What we don't do
We don't sell data, run ad trackers, build profiles, or ask for names, emails, or payment details anywhere in the app.
Location pins
The "pin my location" button is for marking the store's location while you're there. Pin shops, not homes. If a pin reveals something it shouldn't, email us and we'll remove the post.
Your photos and posts
You keep ownership of the photos you post. By posting, you give Raw & Rooted permission to display them in the app and in materials that promote the app. Only post photos you took yourself, and only post content that's legal and plant-related. We may remove any post at our discretion, and we respond promptly to takedown requests sent to the email above.
Accuracy — please call ahead
Everything here is posted by visitors like you. Prices change, plants sell out, and mistakes happen. We make no promises about the accuracy or availability of anything listed — call the store before you drive.
Store names
Store and brand names in the directory (Home Depot, Publix, Trader Joe's, and all others) belong to their owners. Raw & Rooted is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any store listed.
The app is provided as-is
We provide Raw & Rooted free, as-is, and without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Raw & Rooted isn't liable for losses arising from use of the app or reliance on posted content.
Changes
We may update this page as the app grows; the date above always shows the current version. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
